The Sony XAV-AX8500 features an expansive 10.1" floating capacitive touchscreen display that delivers the best picture quality you can put into your car. The display boasts high-definition 1280x720 resolution and a "gapless" design. The LCD panel is bonded directly to the protective glass touch layer for improved clarity when compared to conventional screens. An internal anti-glare filter reduces sunlight reflections for easier viewing and safer driving.

A big screen for challenging dashboards

While large displays are becoming the norm in late-model vehicles, many older cars don't have enough space in the dash for a large video screen. No problem with the XAV-AV8500. The chassis of the receiver fits into a single-DIN opening, so it will work with many different vehicles. With this big 10.1" screen installed, you'll easily see all your media info, with convenient control buttons lining the bottom of the screen for good measure. You also get all the latest smartphone interfaces such as Bluetooth®, Apple CarPlay®, and Android Auto®.
